Join a small group of adventure travelers on a two weeks Journey through Egypt.

This year for the holidays we are curating the trip of a lifetime for a select small group we will journey to the bottom of Egypt, staying on an island in the Nile, exploring majestic Abu Simbel before making our way back from Nubia to the Valley of the Queens and Valley of the Kings, and Temple of Karnak spending Christmas in Luxor before exploring the Great Pyramids and then journeying to a secret destination for an unforgettable NYE.

This week is carefully curated for a select small group of adventurers, we will be 10-12 persons maximum. This event will lean 30s-40's and it will intentionally be an almost even gender mix.

Fine tastes greatly appreciated but bring your sense of adventure and a willingness to go off the beaten path, hike deep into tombs or canyons, spend evenings by the fire, and sleep in an eco lodge under a mosquito net. This is a thoughtfully curated opportunity to get to know a great mix of humans on a truly deeper level, while exploring the nile, the desert and ancient tombs and temples. You will make incredible memories and lasting connections. For travel logistics, applicant must hold an active European or US passport. This is an intentionally small group of only 12 persons - so if you are interested, we advise that you lock in your spot immediately.

Q: How do I apply, and what's the process?

Q: Is there a deadline to apply?
Yes, we will only be 12 persons, and spots are filling on a first-come basis. We recommend applying as soon as possible to secure a place.

Q: Can I apply with a partner or friend?
This trip is designed for solo applicants to keep the group dynamic organic but you are welcome to inquire and we will consider all applications with an open mind.

Q: What should I bring?
We will send out a very detailed packing guide to reference!

Q: Is travel insurance required?
No but it is strongly recommended. Please see the Assumption of Risk at the bottom of this page and read it carefully. Note that some major credit cards cover many travel situations quite extensively, many rental policies cover loss of property while traveling. We encourage you to look at the coverage you already have and to research travel insurance options and we trust that you will make the coverage choice that fits your needs and risks.

Q: What if I need to cancel?
Because we book the logistics well in advance and they are not refundable, and the time that goes into the planning cannot be recovered, our pmts are also non-refundable with one possible exception which is not guaranteed: Because we only accept a small number of applicants, we have a waiting list for future Travel Events and if cancellation happens early enough, we can try to see if someone else who applied but was waitlisted, still has the flexibility in their holiday schedule to take your spot. If that is the case, they would “buy you out” and there would be an admin fee of €250 for this process.

Q: What is the guests photo policy?

  • Ask before you photograph someone. A quick "mind if I grab a photo?" is the norm here, don't take photos of other guests without their permission.

  • Don't post any photo that includes another guest to social media, publicly or privately, without that person's explicit consent, even if you think they'd be fine with it. Ask first, every time.

  • Photos of just you, your own view, your own moments, are yours to post to your heart's content.

Assumption of Risk


This event includes physical activities such as climbing down into tombs, hiking around expansive ancient sites, options for diving, and other physical endeavors, which carry inherent risks of injury. By applying to and participating in this trip, guests acknowledge these risks and agree to review and sign a full Liability Waiver prior to travel. We strongly recommend all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for winter sports and medical evacuation, prior to departure. Participation in this event is voluntary, and guests are responsible for assessing their own fitness and ability to safely engage in offered activities.
